How to get better, tips for a low Elo player who wants to break the next barrier. Profile in post.

EDIT(2):THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT FEEDBACK!! GOT SOME GENUINE PEOPLE IN THIS SUB!

Here’s my profile. Low(est) Elo player here just asking for some genuine tips and guidance for improvement. I average 60k in aimlabs (no this isn’t great but I started off at 27k when I 1st started to play Val) to which I’ll say I know HOW to aim-but doesn’t mean I hit the shots(lmao) I also work full time so I’m not expecting to go pro in any means due to limited playing time, but would still like to improve while I am playing.

With this being said and hopefully you’ve taken a moment to check my profile to see if there’s anything particular but what are some of the General Game tips a low Elo player should know? / what are the unwritten rules I should know?

I don’t like to play duelist because I always would frag out but be that guy across the map not helping so I tried to learn Sova(thanks Hiko and Sinatraa) and omen to be more of a support who’s not a “sage” type of support. To which I’ll say this is when I started to enjoy the game more and not Care about winning or losing. BUT now I’ll be real I want to win! And do so in comp. to atleast see if I can improve. (I see a lot of those “started in iron now I’m imm 3” posts so yes. It got to my head think I might have a slim chance to make similar gains.)

So again to sum this post up. ( I can’t post gameplay at the current moment but if it helps I will make follow up post with some Aces/4Ks I’ve gotten to show my in game skill)EDIT-I don’t normally record full gameplays just highlights, hence only aces and 4ks. Will make a follow up post linking this thread with my actual gameplay. How can I improve at this game. I want to take that next step but have a hard time when it comes to picking the correct agent, certain call outs on certain maps, and to be very honest what to buy and when. (Ex. Buying a spectre cuz the team all has it and I have enough credits for it. It’s round 2.(we won 1st round) Do I buy ? Or just buy/keep the ghost I would’ve had from pistol? Stuff like this I feel lost in and I feel those tips in YouTube are just repeats of “hold angles” “learn agents “ and all that click bait stuff.

Any tips would help.

TLDR: bronze /iron player(Sova/omen main if I had to pick) here looking to make the next jump and am looking for the unwritten tips/ rules which I should know or which may help to improve. Be Blunt. Be Real. Don’t beat around the bush lol. I kinda love this game so want to reach my highest potential. Reality is I may have already hit it though hahaha Sorry for such a long post.

Edits.
