I've now played Val for about 7 months-ish (since April). I started out horrible, and while I have definitely improved, I notice myself having more bad games than good ones, which I think is because of my aim.
I have an Aimlab routine I follow, which I currently do for about 20 minutes or more, depending on my circumstance. Even though I noticed an improvement a day or two after starting, I feel like I've hit a slump and it makes me feel like shit. If you guys have any tips on how to stop feeling so bad after going from a 17/5 match to a 4/15 one, please let me know.
Obligatory question about rank: I only play Unrated, since I learned from playing comp in OW and R6 that ranked just pisses me off. But if I had to guess my rank, I'd say only like Silver 3 or something.
EDITED: Thanks for the tips and such, I bit the bullet and played a couple comp matches, and I can already say that it feels better. Thanks for changing my mind. Regarding my crosshair placement, it it imo decent, but there is improvement to be made, but I'll try to take things more lightly and won't be too harsh on my self.
