Hello everyone. I'm new here, hope I'm not being a bother to you guys. As a new player, I want to ask how should a new player get better in this game.
To give you guys some context, my little sister(age 20) is invited by her friends to play Valorant, so she's begging me to download the game on my PC. And I did, before checking the game myself to see what she's gonna get into. I'm a Silver player in Overwatch, while I can't say I'm confident with my skill, I can say I have a good knowledge of FPS games. And Valorant is wildly different than Overwatch. This game is more punishable for every mistake, movement feels more sluggish, and player skills are in higher demand. This isn't a game that a casual gamer should casually dabble in unless they're willing to spend some effort improving themselves.
I think I will stick with Overwatch for now, but my sister only wants to have fun with her friends, and I don't want her to get discouraged from losing way too much. So... Valorant players, what advice can you give to my little sister? Thank you for listening.
