Hey all,
I've spent about the last month working on some VOD review software in conjunction with a coach from a French Valorant pro team. The tool is called "Vodon Pro" and is totally free and open source. I just hit 100 downloads with it so I figured it was time to let the broader community know about it.
As you're all likely aware, Valorant lacks some of the internal replay tools like other games have and this makes it difficult to perform an analysis on games that you or your team have played. That's where my software comes as it allows you to have SYNCHRONISED playback of all viewpoints from players on your team.
It works like this:
- You (and your team) record your match using Shadow Play, OBS Studio or the Nvidia recording tools.
- Send all the videos to your coach (or whoever is going to do the review).
- The analysist drags and drop the videos into my tool and picks a common point in each video that is the same "moment" in the match.
- You switch to the review tab where it will automatically keep all the videos synchronised to the same moment across the videos when you play or seek, and allow you to instantly jump between the viewpoints of the players.
Once the videos have been setup, you also have a few other tools that you can use. These are things like drawing on the video (think built in epic pen) or creating bookmarks of interesting moments to talk about with the team later. You can save and load projects and eventually I'm going to build some really interesting tools, things like being able to read out ammo counts, kills etc from the video and plot them as stats or charts.
This isn't just for Valorant either, for example, I have a bunch of Apex Legends players also using the tool.
If you'd like to see a screenshot (and I apologise, I only have Apex Legends screenshots lol) you can see one here which shows it in action:

If you're interested in downloading it, finding out more about the features, more screenshots etc then you can find it on Github here:

Any questions, comments etc then please post them below and I'll answer them.
Thanks!
