I am currently in diamond 1. Every single game I am matched with mostly diamond 3 / ascendant 1 for some reason (I solo queue). This means I do shit because I am about mid-plat level in skill. However, I only lose small amounts of elo from losses due to how high the ranks are of other players. but then I also gain a lot of elo from wins because of the same reason. This means I am sitting in diamond 1, doing shit every game. I want to drop without actively throwing to drop my win rate to nothing but because the game keeps matching me 3 ranks above I simply can't.

someone explain this, please. Why is this happening?
