By the title i mean the psychological effect of keeping you engaged in the game.
I used to play 4-6 matches a day in valorant before the reduction/the new score system came with the new rank system. now i am only playing one game and then i quit the game, regardless if i win or lose.
The reason, in the scenario of playing a match to the point of overtime and winning the match, gives you approximately an rr point of 15-17+(ofc dependent on your mysterious mmr score) even tho you might be the mvp or just did your very best thru the whole match supporting, trading ect. you get 15-17 contra the normal 24-28+ that was before.
In the other scenario, losing the match while keeping the spirits high in the team and doing your very best at a loss end match result of 11-13 for example, gives you almost double the amount of minus RR points contra winning.
In both scenarios i have the same feeling and do the same action. i feel the time and the energy spent in the one match, was not worth the time and energy being spent. the action afterward is, i quit the game after one match and go to another one.
I might be in the minority of having this experience, but i wonder if this resonate with you too?
