I feel down that I got demoted from gold 1 to silver 3 but to be honest, it’s also kind of relieving.
I don’t always play competitive by myself but with my friends who are sometimes smurfs. Whenever I play with them, it’s still a 50/50 chance of winning, but most of the ranked games I have played, I’m always scared of popping off and I rely on my 5-stack team. I always picked support knowing that I’d do probably better being a duelist because I main Jett a lot on unrated and am pretty confident in my gameplay with her but on ranked I feel scared because of the pressure being a duelist so I rarely play her in ranked. And I rely on my friend who is the better Jett. But still we lost and that hit me to be more confident in ranked games. So I start doing solo queue and ranked down to silver 3. I’m surprised that I have what it takes to be the team MVP in ranked. I never was an MVP with my friends in ranked. Is solo queue a better way to improve yourself? Or should I stick with stacking?
