As the title says i dont want to improve so i can still play at the same level as my friends
Me and my buddies started playing valorant in the beta and never really wanted to get into ranked or grind the game, we were playing to have fun.
One day i decided im tired of whiffing and being at the bottom of the scoreboard, and decided to grind the game most of my freetime. And after i while i improve greatly like from silver to platinum.
But whenever i play with my friends we go up against higher level players, making their gaming experience much worse and they dont have as much fun.
Now their too polite to just out and say it but i can tell they get more enjoyment out of the game when playing without me. And ive realized that im also having less fun now that im getting really into the game.
Now im just unsure of what to do, its kind of hard to unlearn something, best i can do is take this example and not do it in other games we play.
Edit: Thanks for all the responses, didn't mean to start a debate on smurfing lol, i really like some of the challenge ideas, and learning every single agent. Saw one comment about learning all agent tech, like race satchels and i think these ideas could work. Thanks for all the suggestions!
