how is it fair that a bronze player can't team up with gold player but can go up against gold players on the opposing team?

Im currently bronze 2 and so currently can't play with my friend who is gold 2. But in my most recent ranked matches the enemy team has had gold players on it. How is it fair that I can play with gold.. But can play against them. Anyone...

Can I unlink a VALORANT account from a google account without deleting it?
