I play this game infrequently (usually just my placements plus some extra) but I decided that I actually wanted to commit time towards learning and playing the game. I'm not sure why, but I've been placed in platinum 2 and my lobbies are full of diamonds and one or two ascendants. As a result, I've been so incredibly lost while playing and I feel like I'm ruining everyone's game. I don't like playing normals in most games since it's hard to learn things while playing with either silent players or people just messing around. I've been hoping that my mmr will drop quickly but it doesn't seem to be the case. I just want to play at my skill level but is it possible that my mmr will drop soon? I've played about 4 games after my placements and the overall ranks of my lobbies have remained the same. Should I keep playing until my mmr drops lower or should I just wait until next season and hope the rank reset fixes this?
