So, I have like 15 years of FPS experience, 5k+ hrs in CS with almost a global some time ago and can safely say every shooter I get into - I'm on top of the scoreboard.
But not Valorant. I've just started this game several days ago, but I just can not hit my shots. I don't know why, I can't even describe the exact things. But somehow other people who are really bad mechanically are getting positive KDs (like, really bad, if you know what I mean, you know it) with me bottom fragging. While I'm getting used to the characters, abilities and all that stuff, the main thing still eludes me. I warm up every time, spend time on DMs and in training room, but man.
I'm really inconsistent here, some time I get perfect spraydowns and one-taps and 1st place with decent KD, and some time I'm just giga bottom, like it's just RNG (that never happened to me anywhere, I was always more consistent). While people against me seem like E-sports pros, one tapping me 0.1 sec after peeking.
So, is there something I don't understand? Why can't I get comfortable and start to pop off? Can anyone who came from CS give some advices how to improve and what is that detail that derails me?
P.S. The same applies to Operator. I don't know why but I just can't get any flicks here, this is so strange.
P.P.S. Also, is there a way to enable Mouse acceleration like in CS?

Advice posts for Bronze/Silvers are neat, but the reality for casual ranked players is a little more difficult than that
