I placed gold, but never won a game in it. Do I get a gold buddy?

Does this mean at the end of the season I will only get a silver buddy as I was never able to win in gold?

Too many afk.

I played 2 ranked games today, in the first one my team had 2 afks, in the second my team had 3, like how is this ok riot? I swear this game has the most afks, not a game is even close to this level of afks.
