I play for a University Valorant team and just recently took over as a captain and IGL. I've never been both and I'd like some tips on how to improve.

I've been with the girls since July last year but I was the controller. Since it's a University team we have a fairly big rotation of people because of graduation and all. Starting this year, I've been appointed team captain and IGL since the previous girl graduated.

Thing is, I'm a plat player, I've never done any sort of IGL stuff. I've been looking for some videos and things to help me do better in that position. We're currently opening trials for our sixth player and reforming the team with map compositions and such.

We don't have a coach, but since I'm managing the man's team too, I've asked their coach to assist us when needed.

Do you guys have any tips? I watch pro players quite often, I'm from Brazil so I follow Saadhak pretty often since he's LOUD's IGL. For more info, our team elos range from plat to high diamond/low ascendant.

Thank you in advance!
