I think this change in mindset had helped me in other competitive games to have more fun and not get titled.

So I'm coming back to this game after a couple months break and in the mean time and still now I've been playing fighting games. There was some advice I got from those people in the fgc that I think can help yall.

Don't worry if you win or lose. You might think this means to not take rank game seriously but it just means to not worry and play it out. You are going to lose and it's the only way to get better. You need to get schooled by people who are better than you to improve. Winning will come in time and your rank is the same. Try to look for small victories that are about your skill and not just trying to win. Try to get better positioning crosshair placement and ability usage. Always going for fuckin crazy frags are not what will help you.

Also don't beat yourself up too much. Let's say you peak get shot at and go back in cover. You try to get the enemy player 2 more times but you get one tapped. Don't just say "welp I'm just trash should've aimed better." Not only does this not solve what you could've done better but you basically insult yourself and that leads to tilt. Try thinking if maybe you or an ally could've used an ability or maybe you could have gone another way. Don't just use blanket answer and say your trash. And that brings me to my 3rd point.

You are not trash you are improving and learning. This should be your montra. Rewatch your clips and see what could've gone better. Also only focus on you not your teammates. I know elo hell and all that but seriously it'll only bring pain bro just be the best player you can be.
