Does Valorant need an ingame replay system, similar to what CS:GO has in their launcher?
I'm trying to understand why Valorant haven't implemented a feature like this, as this is something i've used in CS:GO back in the day to follow my favorite players.
- As much as i'm a fan of the observers cut, watching the entire action from the observers view for the whole duration and being limited to that can sometimes be frustrating.
- On the flip side, following only one player's POV on their stream gives you no real idea of what's going on in the general game
- While the majority of casual viewers may prefer to watch the tournament play out from the observers view, there is still a demand for viewing the various player POV's during the match.
This is something i'm really looking for input on, as I believe it could be a game changer, not only from a viewers perspective, but from a gameplay perspective too. Viewers get more angles on the action, and a way to support more of their favorite streamers with ease, giving each individual their ideal viewing setup.
Given the current scope of eSports broadcasting, would you want to see this in the Valorant Launcher? Or in Battle Royale? Do you just watch just your favourite streamer? The broadcast? A co-stream? Do you think multiview, essentially a PiP overlay would be something you'd enjoy?
I created a mock up that demonstrates a feature like this being used in Valorant. I'd appreciate everyones input! :)
