While I think that hiding the act ranks while in game is a step in the right direction. IMO leaving the act rank badges is basically the same thing. Most people do not change drastically during the course of an act so you can still use that badge as a proxy of their performance. The judgement that happens before games with other players ranks now just won’t be regarding their current rank but what they ended with last act, which could be better or worse, but is contradictory to what removing the ranks was supposed to do in the first place
