Not only are you making visit this reddit a burden, you’d also just adding unto the fake narrative that ranked is broken.

1. This new system is the exact same one from episode 1. The only thing that’s different from this episode to last one’s is that you can see the progress with numbers instead of arrows and kills no longer matter.

I’ve been progressing through the ranks since beta, and I too once thought ranked was broken at the start of episode 2. But then I realized I went from only getting 18-19 RR, to getting +25rr for a win and +24 for a loss.

The system is anti smurf anti booster system. When you start to win too much it thinks your one of the two, so then it starts to drag you down, making you prove that your not being boosted or not being a smurf/trying to deter smurfs.

2. If you were really top fragging every game and everything you do is perfect why don’t you just go to the next rank? And become radiant? Surely when you say you lose -40 for a loss and only +0 for a win but you drop 56 kills (sarcasm) you notice something is wrong right? Are you insta locking duelist? or playing flex? are you baiting and going solely for kills thinking they matter or are you playing the role of the igl?

Like seriously guys, when are we gonna stop biting the hand that feeds us the food we’re asking for?

3. Lastly, Ranked quite literally does not matter. It’s mere pixels that don’t even depict raw skill. Especially in this game. If you think ranked shows what type of skill you have, you are sadly mistaken. It’s all team play/mentality. You could be radiant and still have bad mechanics, and you could be gold with pro like mechanics. If you truly wanted to rank up, you should lose the ego that kills and ranked matters, and start making vods and improve on yourself, and then you’ll see your pixels go from brown to silver, or yellow to blue, or blue to purple (ranked reference colors).
