I'm Ascendant 1, peak 3, and taking to reddit to see a different perspective.

I only play this game because its probably the only thing I'm good at, but at this point, its so frustrating to consistently try to hit Immortal. Sometimes , when I'm performing well, its my teammates bringing me down. When I'm playing poorly, rarely do I see better teammates in turn perform. To me, no matter what, I cannot rank up.

Yes, I have tried taking a break, different agent, improving my aim, my gamesense, my mentality, routine, playing with another or two more.

I obviously revel in the fact that I am so close to the top 1%, but I find it painfully sad that I am can never hit that goal. Can I even blame it on the nature of ranked?

Aside from that, anyone has any views on this - what should I do? Finally announce my "retirement"?
