So I’ve been doing a lot of aim training recently and it’s been working great for me. Aim was my biggest weakness in Valorant, since my game sense was pretty good, and my util usage was serviceable for my Elo (Gold 2). But with all the aim training, I’ve discovered a problem I have: my sensitivity.
I play on 800dpi and used to run .45 sens, not knowing it was pretty high. So I switched to .28 at 800dpi and my shots were so much better and more consistent. But recently I tired upping my sens a bit more to .38…and it felt so much better, but I was doing worse. Like, I wasn’t hitting shots that I’d definitely hit on lower sens, but my aim and movement and mouse control just felt better and more comfortable. But my aim was worse. So what do I do? I’m thinking if trying a medium sens, but I really don’t want to develop the habit of changing my sens all the time.
So what do you think? Should I just stick with low sens and learn to deal with it, or find some way to get the same consistency with high sens? Thanks!
