I have started muting everyone when I get in game, I honestly am trying to learn, I'm just not great at shooters (and this is different from most that I have played.) I'm playing with my teenager and a couple friends but I want to play alone too in order to get better. Will stating "hey, I'm kinda bad, trying to get better, please be nice" help? Or should I just stick to muting everyone and moving on with my day? I hate missing out on critical info but I don't want to deal with b.s. right now.
editing : someone said (but it was deleted) "whatever you do don't play comp" feel free to not bother replying because I've never intended to do so unless my friends wanted to but we would be a 5 stack so don't worry
