edit: it's not actually about ranking up I messed up

I am really happy and it's like 2am here but I wanted to share this. I started playing this game around 3 months ago and even posted here to get some tips on how to get better at the game. I hadn't played a FPS in a few years (I used to play TF2).

I got placed in Iron 1 and I was stuck there for about a month till I got to Iron 2. I had no aiming skills, I'd ads all the time and lose easy kills, I had no game sense. Which are pretty obvious right? In those 3 months this game made me so happy! I got to see how I was improving by ranking up and seeing what I had to improve when I was ranking down. I started watching a bunch of streamers to learn strats for the characters but not only that but to also have fun.

This post is not just about ranking up is also about how this game and this community brings me so much joy. There are some toxic players? Yep. I've cried a few times because of them but then in the next game you meet a bunch of amazing people. I got an amazing friend whom I play everyday with.

It may seem like it's too much to say about a game but for me it isn't. I've been treating my depression for about 3 years and I lost all my hobbies. I had nothing that I did just to have fun and now I have this game. This game, the community, the content creators and the developers... it's all fantastic!

I never had this much fun, really. Watching First Strike and cheering so much for a team. Playing the game and getting happy, sometimes angry, sometimes tilted... It made me remember that I can feel all of that.

Anyways! I am just really happy and I want to thank everyone that made this be possible. I hope you all have an amazing holiday season and stay safe! ♥️
