I’m unranked right now, I spent most of my time getting used to the game and learning agents and game play + practicing my aim before jumping straight into comp the second my level hit 20, but I’m wanting to start comp now that I’m confident in my skills. My only issue is that I don’t have a mic and dont plan on buying one for the time being, so I’m just curious if mics are important in low Elo? I know they are when you get into the higher ranks because comms are an essential part of the game and can make-or-break a round, but are they important in low elo or is there a way to successfully get comms across somewhat in chat? I will if I can because I need to give SOME kind of comms, but until I buy a mic I need another way. Also, while I’m here I’ll ask are there any good mic recommendations that aren’t extremely pricey but still work just fine? I’ll need suggestions when I do decide to purchase a mic.
