Is it normal to be hardstuck iron?

I've been hardstuck for like 6 months, I think I started playing Oct-Nov. I'm not a good player (I'm for real), I don't have gamesense but I think I should've improved. Even my best clip isn't good. But I'm iron 1 again, do you think my rank will spike? My brother was hardstuck gold for 6 months and in like 1 month he reached Diamond. I've never really got much fps experience. Like younger, I'd play PS4 CoD, but I was really bad, i had no gamesense and i'd just play against my brother and some bots.

So anyway, is this normal? How long did it take for you to get out of iron?

Is it normal to reposition/lift up your mouse to the center of your mousepad while aiming?

Just started playing this game with a 400dpi, and in some cases where I have to move my mouse to the very right, it makes aiming feel really awkward so I lift my mouse back to the center of my mousepad. Is this normal or are you supposed to...
