Allow me to first establish 2 things.
- I play on Singapore servers.
- Throughout my time playing valorant, I have to say that I was very proud of the playerbase. I rarely meet any toxic or salty people, and I've met some of the nicest people I've ever played with. Even in competitive, everyone's usually in a good mood, those that are communicating are supportive. Of course, there will be those people who stay silent the entire match, or those who go 'gg ez' at the end of the game. I rarely play with afkers, throwers and trollers, which seem to be a big issue among the players on this subreddit (as I've observed during my time here)
However, I find that the subreddit is filled with complaints about toxicity, rude teammates who are blatant and openly insult others, even sexism towards female players.
Is our playerbase really that toxic? Or are those on the receiving end more vocal about their issues and the toxicity they face? Does toxicity among players vary based on the server?
Please share about your true experiences in your servers, pleasant or not.

PSA: Smoke the spike, not the chokepoint
This is a common mistake that gets made even in high elo, which is where in a retake situation, the smokes player will place their smoke at a chokepoint instead of on the spike when they are trying to *smoke defuse*. It's a small mistake bu...
