I've been thinking about this for a while now , and I feel like it's the right time to share my thoughts . As of now , sage is a decent agent and is good at playing the support role . But I think that her viability has reduced significantly .

While she has got heals , we can agree that skye is a much more useful agent , who has even faster and more versatile heals . She can heal upto 2 partly damaged allies extremely quickly . Although her heals don't regenerate and have a range limit , they are still very good since a sage rarely ever gets to heal twice in a round .While her slows can stall pushes , they will probably be useless when chamber comes out because not only will his slows give info , but they can also be activated without him having to peek (aka they can be activated passively ) . We might even see some chamber slow and astra gravity well combos . Sage's wall , which is considered her strongest ability on defense , is an only somewhat redeemable ability . While it is insanely good at weakening pushes when combined with her slows , I feel like it would be more viable to pick a defensive monster like killjoy over sage to lock down a site . It would be much better to leave killjoy alone at a site with her turret and nanoswarm rather than sage with her wall and slows . Lastly , her ult is in a very awkward place right now . While you can resurrect a teammate , it is very hard to do so in an open area without getting yourself or your revived teammate die . Also , the ult of other sentinels like killjoy and potentially chamber are much more impactful .
