Long time FPS player here. Played 1.6 and GO for a good amount of time. My aim is decent, not pro level or anything, but I am accurate.

I used to be pretty decent in Global Offensive. I never felt like my aim was bad at all. I was fairly consistent. Mostly top-2 fragging and rarely bottom fragging. However, Valorant feels like a completely different story. I recently started playing with my friends and made it from Bronze 3 to Gold 2 in a fairly short period, and from the number of games I have played over the last month, I can clearly feel that something unusual is going on with the game or with me.

One game I'm popping off, winning every aim duel, one tapping people left and right feeling like a literal god, and the next game I turn into a complete shitter and miss every single shot I take. In one game I am dropping 30 frags, and in the next, I can barely get 10.

I just don't get why it is like that. Is it me? Is it the game? Is it the servers? Why can't I consistently be decent? Does anybody else feel the same way?
