I’ve played this game for about a year now, on and off. I see a lot of threads on this sub about toxicity and personally, I rarely see it in my games. I don’t join voice but I do use chat quite a bit and while there is someone toxic once maybe every 10 games, it doesn’t really have a huge impact on how much I enjoy the game. Also, if one person is toxic, the team doesn’t just start abusing each other, it’s generally just ignored.
Maybe I’m lucky and I haven’t encountered toxic players, maybe it’s a region difference. I’m not saying there is no toxicity in Valorant, but I don’t think it’s as big of an issue as people call it out to be.
