So as the title suggests I‘m pretty new to the game (and FPS genre as a whole) I‘m currently Iron 3 (have been in last season which was my first). Apart from work on your aim, are there any tips you could give me and new players in general...

Why is a map that makes B main inaccessible for the first ~15 seconds of the round widely regarded as the best map in VALORANT? I feel like Ascents design is good, but some of the wallbangs are way too overpowered on ct side. Thoughts?

The Ares is disappointing in almost every way
The spin up time is atrocious, the spread is atrocious, dont even get me started on if its not ADS'ed. Especially getting into higher elo where its tap or be tapped. Here it has almost no place whatso ever.
I just wish it was more viable...
