Let's be honest, the vast majority of skins that players want is above 1775RR (or 3550 for knife) and therefore can never be present in the night market.
And okay, Riot want money, that's logic they are a company that need to optimize their gain, but if they want to do an event's discount, there is no reason to "ban" some sorts of skins. it's like they didn't completely assume their choice to do this night market so "yeah get these discounts but not for the best skins lol"
They could ATLEAST just give a slot for them and give a very poor discount, that way we could at least take advantage of having an extra chance to have these premium skins without having to wait 1 year for them to fall into our 4 daily slots
