I'm Plat 1, and I'm a big sweat. I'm trying to hit Diamond this act, and Immortal by the end of the summer, and I'm an improvement maniac. Notes, aim training, etc. Valorant is my first FPS and my first game I've taken seriously competitively.
I'm trying to build up my foundational skills as I rank up rather than just aim dueling until I'm Immortal, and also want my rank wins to be more consistent (the no-comm 5 man rushing doesn't always work), so I try to IGL/strat call in my ranked games, but I'm having trouble on attack. I haven't found really any good resources, so I need some help.
I've heard all the basic language; map control, defaulting, baiting utility, etc. but I don't really know how to apply them in game, when to use them, etc. I also don't know what to take into consideration when thinking of a strategy. How do you guys think of what to do in ranked?
