just be supportive

So i have a friend who's a bit of a seasoned valorant player, i only started out valorant recently because of hardware reasons

As a new player, i still cant master the operator very well cuz you just dont be pro at it instantly

Once i was in an unrated game, my whole team were newbies so we didnt get on fully since the whole opposite team were way better than we were. But i managed to land an ace and im pretty proud at that.

After the match he wanted to join me in an unrated match so he invited me. I happily told him the story of my ace. But the way he doesn't believe that i would land any kill ever is kinda hurtful in a way

"Guess what, i just landed an ace on my last game. Isn't that nice?"

"no, i dont believe that"

"nahh i did, see my career you can see" (shared screen on discord for him)

"theres no way, you cant be that good at the game already. You still suck at it"

"but i still got an ace...hehehhh"

"either you used a hack coz u were so bad at the game or your whole match was full of noobs, not surprising seeing your career tho"

"damn bro chill, you dont have to accuse me like that bro"

"i dont care, you're just showing off to make me feel inferior"

"are you jealous bro? ( like he isnt obvious)"

"why tf would you say im jealous, i started this game way earlier that you and i already won more aces than you. I havent seen you top frag ever so dont speak to me like you earn everything already"

At this point I had it, i left the vc and didnt play the match with him. I didnt answer his vc's or chats

I shared my ace with my immortal friend and turns out hes way more supporting and encouraged me to practise more

If you ever had a friend who just accomplished a milestone just be supportive if ur a real friend
