Learning curve and toxicity to new players

After having played CS:GO on and off for quite a few years, I’ve decided to give Valorant a try. I’ve done a few deathmatches and as gun play is very similar to CS, I’m getting decent kills in rather quickly. So far so good.

When queueing for unranked matches, things change completely. People see I’m lvl 1, at the start of the match I tell them I’m totally new to the game and basically have zero clue about tactics, what hero does what and how to tactically use abilities. Still, in the four unranked matches I’ve played, all I’m hearing is shouting people that are bitching about a smoke not placed correctly, a certain ability not performed perfectly or a rotation that isn’t executed perfectly. Like no shit, I’m a total noob at this game and trying to learn, just bitching about it not being right does Jack.

All this useless bitching in an unranked match for not being perfect at mechanics that are completely new to me, is causing me to already lose interest. How am I supposed to learn?

How is this experience for other players, have you encountered something similar?
