Hi, I'm not an Astra Main but I definitely enjoy playing Astra on Bind. She's my insta-lock agent on Bind because I have some good lineups on that map and I just feel confident playing her on Bind.

Although I must say, since the day I have unlocked her and played her a couple of times on Ranked - mind you, I play solo most of the time - I have felt like she is the most bashed-on agent in the team. People dislike me picking her, blame me for every single mistake. I could be top fragging with Astra and someone would still be mad at me if I accidentally pulled them into my orb. I have never experienced the same amount of criticization when I play Omen or Phoenix (as an example).

For example just now, I was on Agent Select for Bind and picked Astra and the team Jett said "Ehh...do you know how to play Astra?" in a very passive-aggressive way. She then continued to say "bad played" whenever I couldnt clutch because they all died too fast although I wasnt even bottom fragging, they just wanted to bash me I guess.

Is it because people in lower ranks underestimate Astra? I feel like she is pretty powerful and requires lots of big brain sometimes and you need a quick reaction time. Playing her is not easy, especially when you're attacking you can get killed in your Astral Form at anytime and no one is even covering your body in solo queue.

So I just wanted to ask if someone has the same experience? I get "nt" when I cant clutch with Phoenix but a "bad played" with Astra. Do people just dont like that Agent?
