Hi all,

Someone claimed to me that Sage heal could not be heard by enemies and I wasn't as sure as he was.

TLDR : He was wrong and not all sound cues translate as a circle around you on the map.

We hoped on a custom with another friend and began our tests :

• Sage
  • Sage WILL be heard when healing herself or someone else (radius: ?)
  • There is NO sound cue on the map showing when healing
  • The one receiving the heal WON'T be heard
• Skye
  • Skye WILL be heard when healing (radius: ?)
  • There IS a sound cue on the map showing while healing
  • The ones receiving the heal WON'T be heard

• Omen
  • An Omen sending a smoke WILL be heard (radius: ?)
  • There is NO sound cue on the map showing when sending a smoke
  • A smoke traversing an enemy WON'T be heard
  • The starting point of a shrouded step WILL be heard (radius: ~40 m)
  • There is NO sound cue on the map showing at the starting point of the Shrouded step
  • The arriving point of a shrouded step WILL be heard (radius: 12.5 m )
  • There IS a sound cue on the map showing at the arriving point
  • The starting point of "From the Shadows" (ULT) WON'T be heard
  • The arriving point of ULT WILL be heard (radius: 22.5 m)
  • Before casting ULT, a projection of potential arriving point sound cue is shown on map (Does anyone know the use of the first and the second ring ? The third is the sound cue range)

• Brimstone
  • Since 2.0, NO sound cue when confirming the location of his smokes
• Viper
  • NO sound cue when picking up Poison Cloud

Now two questions :

• Did you know for sure about all this?
• Should all the sound cues show up on the map? (e.g. Sage's Heal vs Skye's Heal)
