I've noticed that lots of immortal-radiant players like to split up on attack, to bait the enemies into rotating and force the defenders to play retake, especially in vct. How come iron-ascendant players rarely ever do this? Especially from iron-gold, it seems like everyone 5 stacks one site every round.

Has the general skill level gone down this act?
So lemme start by prefacing I have multiple accounts in multiple elos in order to queue with friends.
Now I keep reading on reddit that the general skill level has increased and that has made ranking up harder and pushing people downwards...
