In my many, many hours of playing this game I have come to realize that team morale is the NUMBER ONE predictor of winning games. When I play with a team that remains positive and constructive after someone makes a mistake or we lose a few rounds, we have a much higher chance of winning. When the opposite happens, and my teammates are mean to or yell at each other, we will most likely lose the game.
When you are toxic to your teammates, EVEN IF they aren't playing well or are bottom fragging, you are making it harder for them to contribute in any way. Even if they aren't being useful by getting kills, they can still give callouts and use their utility productively. If you make them hate you, they won't help you. It's even okay to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism as long as you're actually helpful about it and do it at the right times.
Just keep in mind that you calling someone trash, shit, etc. will not make them a better player, EVER!
TL;DR: Toxic players are more likely to lose than productive ones! Be nice and win more games lads.
