My laptop isn't the best, but it was good enough to run Valorant at a stable 60fps with 1 or 2 lag spikes per game (mainly at the start of the game). Ever since the recent update however, I either stay at 10-20fps with massive frame drops every second, or play at a stable 60fps until I look at an enemy, where my frames drop to 0 until I am dead. Is anyone else having this issue, and if so how do you solve it?

How prevalent is smurfing? I am trying out the game today and in all my 3 games we lose with an opponent player getting between 35-37 kills. This is not fun for me.
You might tell me to just get good etc, but if Riot wants new players to check out their cool game, they need to figure out a way to not make the onboarding experience as toxic as this. Playing these games has completely deflated any excite...
