My matches have been going to overtime a lot lately, and while those games are usually the most fun since everyone's around the same skill level, they're also a bit frustrating to whoever's on the losing side.
Now while I agree that it is the nature of the game that whoever gets more rounds wins, a lot of these OTs feel like a coin flip honestly, especially on solo queue, decided by whichever team gets a pick first, and it can feel pretty bad losing 19 RR on a match that you spent 40 minutes on because maybe your Viper was a little bit off on timing her peek.
Not only that, but it doesn't feel fair that a game where your team gets absolutely crushed penalizes you the same way a game where you were almost able to pull off a comeback does, honestly it kinda unmotivates people to fight for that overtime when they can simply "go next".
So yeah I think matches that are that close and go for that long shouldn't have such a RR discrepancy between the teams, and the losing side should at least be "awarded" a little bit for trying and almost pulling off a win.
