Monitor stuck on 144hz- help

I have a 240hz monitor and my fps is uncapped but when I bring up my monitor settings it says its at 144hz instead of 240. This is only on Valorant and not other games. Does anyone know how I can fix?NVIDIA Geforce Experience overlay says im getting 240fps+ but my monitor says its displaying 144hz.

I have those specs as mentioned above, however I’m getting a constant FPS of 120-190, constantly dipping with any movement I make. Playing on 1440p and all low settings. Help please
