I’m completely new to Valorant. Before this I was a super casual warzone player that got fed up with the BS and started looking for an FPS that was “mostly” fair (better servers, less cheating, no controller aim assist, ranked mode, etc).
I understand the basic game concept of attacker/defenders but outside of this, I barely know anything. I don’t know the agents/maps/abilities or game mechanics like economy, movement or even what is the best way to use smokes.
I know that I’ll be able to learn this by playing as much as I can and trying to search for Valorant begginer guides but wanted to know from you guys if there is one recommended way for me to go about this.
I saw somewhere that it was recommended to just aim train and play deathmatch for a month to improve on aiming mechanics but that won’t teach me anything about agents or abilities for example…
Don’t know if this is important but I just finished playing my placement matches and was placed in Bronze 2
Any help or direction will be much appreciated.

Please understand the role of your agent. Too many people pick Reyna or Phoenix for the ability to self heal, and end up lurking or baiting, instead of flashing in and being the first in the fight.
