I know that in deathmatch it’s all about aiming and in comp you need to apply game sense and utility. But in some cases I go in a 1v1 and I miss all my shots from medium range whereas in deathmatch I literally go 40/12/1, headshotting everyone in my peripheral vision.
Edit: I actually found out why it happens. In deathmatch, I don’t care if I die or not because I can just go right back into combat. In comp, I’m more mindful about my deaths so I try to stay alive as much as possible, that means just spraying and praying whenever I see an enemy. In dm, I just try to accurately tap their heads while strafing. So, I think the solution here is that you should just be calm and coordinated in comp to actually get that good aim and not just spray n pray whenever you see an enemy but to take your time being as accurate as possible.
