Many times, my earphones fall off or someone is trying to talk to me so I take them off, and somehow, multi-kills from a rush with a single mag becomes easier for me.
If we take the same situation with my earphones on, I become all impatient, hesitant and after the first kill, I go into a crouch spray instead of strafe shooting.
I think it has to do with my senses being heightened because I'm only focused on what's on-screen, so I don't worry about footsteps and which utilities I hear and my aim becomes more consistent with my warm-ups.
But of course, no sounds lead to me being all like Rambo, fearless and running in like a headless chicken, so in tactical situations, definitely holding shift if my earphones are out of action.
Is this the same for you? I'm a jumpy dude so not having sounds kinda benefits me occasionally. Or does the opposite happen and sounds actually help you aim?

Not sure if this is worth posting. I was playing some music before opening Valorant, and when I looked up in my screen, Cypher suddenly appeared and it matched the vibe of the music. I decided to let it play until the end because it looked so cool and it was perfect!
