So I have a pretty decent PC which runs anywhere between 150-300 fps depending on what game mode I’m playing and how much is going on in game regarding smokes, abilities, etc… I have a 1440p 240hz Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor with “Response Time” settings that range between “Normal,” “Fast,” “Faster,” “Fastest,” and “Fastest (Motion Blur Reduction.”
The game doesn’t really feel smooth to me. Could it be my mouse dpi? (400) Could it be some sort of ghosting or overshoot from the “Response Time” settings? I’m really not sure why it never really looks smooth to me in-game, while it looks very smooth for other games and when I’m just regularly using my PC.
Does anyone have any PC optimization tricks or have any tips to maybe make the game feel a bit smoother? Should I try V-sync + G-sync + FPS limiter?
(In some optimization videos on YT, people sometimes say to turn your power plan to “High Performance.” Would this make a difference?)
Thank you in advance.
