Until then I had only been using the text chat, but because the team was being so chill and friendly I just somehow ended up talking.

BIG MISTAKE.

My voice pretty much instantly revealed my gender, and the first thing I hear from each person after I speak is "Phoenix is a girl?"

I said yes, post which there was just a really, really long silence. They weren't laughing and joking and complimenting one another anymore, they were mostly silent and only giving out comms.

Theres no real purpose to this post, I guess it just feels kind of sad- feels like I ruined the vibe. Sure we won but... that's about it.
