i picked up valorant because i really want to play with my friend who loves it a lot and spend more time with them.
it’s my first fps and let me just say... can someone reassure me that the learning curve is hard for a first timer? i can’t even have fun in a match (even spike rush) because i would be downright feeding, cannot hit any shots, literally 0 spatial awareness and the mini map is hard to navigate for me.
have had so many tips, watched many videos, watched my friend stream their games for HOURS, it’s very discouraging and tbh it’s not that fun for me currently because i barely touched unrated because i don’t want to let my teammates down by not doing well
did anyone start val with 0 fps background? how did you get better? what motivated you to get past this initial stage of learning? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Losing 20 Rank rating for a match with a 3 stack AFK in spawn auto-firing classics is awful. What's worse is that Riot probably won't even ban them.
