My biggest struggle is that bullets will go above the crosshair on long bursts. This throws me off a lot, because I will think I am aiming at someone's head even though I am not. I am too used to the crosshair actually following the bullet path. This has lead me to lose engagements that were actually fairly easy to win, had I known what to do.
Another aspect of the game that confused me at first was that strafe-shooting actually worsened recoil. I come from R6 and Apex, and staying still in those games is a death sentence. Thankfully, I am breaking this habit for this game.
Last but not least, the reaction times of some players is impeccable. A pixel of my character will show and short work will be made of me. And it got me thinking that it might be related to refresh rate? I am playing on 60HZ, so an enemy with higher refresh rate will see me first during the peek, correct? How doomed am I if I play on 60HZ?
My Username is ShadowyLight#9760. If anyone is willing to spare maybe 15-20 minutes to help me get some of the basics down, I'd really appreciate it.
