new player asking about weapons/heroes

hey new player i have some questions

I want to know is there like a gun tier list where one is better than the other or is it the case that you choose what you like and all of them are viable if you're good enough ?

same with heroes is there a clear one better than the other ?

I've always been the kind of guy that likes to know every tiny bit of detail about the characters i play in a game, especially when it comes to competitive ones like Valorant or League. Valorant has an amazing description/stats for the weap...
