To preface, I’m a former console player, who always played with a very high sensitivity (especially in games like COD, Apex, Fortnite, etc). When I swapped over to PC (due to attending college), the only competitive game I really played was League, and as a result my DPI sits at around 1800.
I noticed many Valorant players have their DPI at either 400 or 800, but use majority of their forearm to aim as opposed to just their wrist(which is what I naturally defaulted to due to playing League).
My question is, why is arm aim much more popular, and should I just make the swap over to arm aim early as a new player to the game and the tactical FPS genre in general? Furthermore, which method do you all use?
