This is probably a no duh. But, I see some new players coming in or people talking about toxicity. Ever since muting enemy chat in general I have had such a better experience with Val. If my teammates want to use (read: but why tho?) their energy smack talking with the enemy team, that's on them. For me that means my morale for the most part positive instead of in the past of going *eye roll* for "knife mid lets go" or "defuse if gay" chats.
Some may say this is all just part of the game, but you could actually use that energy instead of getting tilted for messages to support your team.
I think infighting on same team is usually what starts to break down team functionality and could lead to losing. But you can also mute your team mate's chat if they're griping because you got yours but lost the round in 4v5 spike planted sitch.
