What is up everyone. As the title states, I am relatively new to tactical shooters. I played a little of CS:GO with my brother, but ever since I got into the Valorant beta i've been playing as much as I can. I've been hard stuck silver for some time now, getting to gold early on before quickly being sent back down, and I haven't been able to get out of silver since. Funny enough I am definitely better now than I was in Act 1 when I actually made gold. I get the main concepts of the game, I don't get kill thirsty, I play my role (I know the damn Sova lineups for all maps IN SILVER) I communicate with my team (although often they hardly communicate back in my elo) I play site, I reangle if I don't get an initial kill, I don't peek the same angle or awps. My crosshair is always placed close to where I think the enemy may be. I've watched countless and countless videos and guides but climbing has been a bitch and a half. I aimlab for 30-40 minutes before loading the game and hitting the range (I need to improve my aim and that is seemingly the only thing improving), and a couple DMs. I just want to know if this is a "normal" amount of time spent trying to get up into the higher elo's. I'm not gunning for radiant, i'd be perfectly fine with plat/diamond, just any rank where I get teammates that also understand how the game is played. I feel like I'm missing out of the tactical part of the shooter getting dropped into games with people who don't play objective or as a team and just run out to frag. It's getting pretty annoying. I've enjoyed the journey thus far and I don't plan on quitting, I will grind through this if I have to (and its looking like I have to) but I just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience.
EDIT: I do not think I’m not to blame at all, I don’t think I’m good at the game but I do feel that sometimes my rank does not reflect my understanding of the game. I’m working on my aim every day to get better because that’s definitely where I let myself down the most.

Either all abilities take damage or none, in my opinion. KJ is not even alerted if any of these abilities are destroyed in this way. What do you think? (I know, one might not place the ult there. Just wanted to check)
